MK Dons vs Crawley Town predictions

MK Dons are at home this time having gone down 3-0 in the first leg to Crawley Town.

That means all Crawley have to do is hold on to a minimum 2-0 loss, even if it's still a loss they've got a very comfortable cushion to work with tactically and defensively.

MK looked like they'd be able to win this semi-final fairly comfortably based on their previous form.

They finished fourth in the regular season while Crawley Town just scraped through to clinch the final play off spot by a point, ahead of Barrow and Bradford City, as they won their final game.

And they're keeping that form going, with a 3-0 win over MK in the first leg at home.

📝 MK Dons vs Crawley Town betting tips

MK created a few chances, even had more shots than Crawley but failed to convert anything whereas Crawley were fairly clinical with six shots on target and three goals.

Over 2 goals, MK to win - 11/10

Former Reading and Ajax midfielder, Liam Kelly opened the scoring in the first five minutes and that set the tone for the first leg.

Jay Williams scored at the perfect time to make it 2-0, just before the half time whistle, to allow them to set up well in the second half.

They did just that and went further clear capitalizing in the 65th minute thanks to a deflection, which just summed up the Dons' evening.

But it was in the first three minutes that MK could have turned things and set the tone themselves as top scorer Max Dean went round the keeper to tap it in at a tough angle, but a Crawley defender managed to slide and clear it away off the line.

There should be a couple more goals in this as it was quite end to end with plenty of strong chances for both sides.

Max Dean to score - 13/10

Dean was so close to opening the scoring in the first leg in the first three minutes, with a well-worked play to get through 1-on-1 with the keeper, take it round him and put a shot on target.

Crawley were determined to keep a clean sheet though and they somehow managed to do just that.

But Dean has been scoring plenty this season and in the run-in in the final few games of the campaign.

With a goal almost every other match he's difficult to rule out in scoring in such a crucial game.

The striker netted four in his last six appearances and is sure to get another few chances to give MK a glimmer of hope in this one at home.
